The project will be managed by a charter group that will initially be the project team. The membership will be changed as necessary and some mechanism will be required to do this effectively. Suggestions for a democratic process still require some work.

The group will:

• run the project;
• promote the scheme;
• run the servers;
• pump prime the initial pool of teaching materials;
• apply the agreed open source learning method;
• control the flow of material being promoted or removed from the resource bank;
• control the versions, upgrades and releases.

Material Selection Mechanism

The proposed structure for selecting and processing new learning objects is shown in figure 1.
